My dad told me a story once about a car that looked like this my... dad went to work after he finished the 7th grade... I'm not sure if he bought this car new or it was just new to him but it is was as pictured here... it was not long after he got it that he took it to a swimming hole and when they got ready to leave it was parked on a hill he said the cars in those days the fuel pump was not that great and would not pump fuel up to the engine... so he got some gas and poured it into the carburetor and when he cranked it... it revved up and threw a rod through the side of the motor... he said he had never even made a payment on it yet... he called the place that financed it and told him where it was and that was the end of his yellow convertible days
